Install Drop-Off Instructions

Early Drop-Off Business Hours Mon – Fri  |  8am – 5pm

First, thank you for choosing The Sign Artist as your vehicle wrap provider. We couldn't be more excited to help you transform your ride!

Before we get started, here is a list of things you need to know before dropping your vehicle off. Following these three steps keeps your install on schedule and your wrap looking flawless.

Three Steps to Success

  1. 1Timing the Drop-Off
  2. 2Wash & Prep Your Ride
  3. 3Vehicle Inspection
Step 1: Timing the Drop-Off

Your Vehicle Must Be
Dropped Off On Time ⏰

To ensure timely turnaround, it's important that your vehicle is dropped off on time. Our shop's schedule relies on getting vehicles prepped for install promptly. Late drop-offs can result in delayed turnarounds, or even late fees.

You are more than welcome to drop the vehicle(s) off early. In the event of a cancellation, or if another vehicle is not Wrap Ready, there is a chance we can start on your vehicle earlier than scheduled.

Step 2: Wash & Prep Your Ride

Your Vehicle Must Be
Washed Ahead Of Time 🧼

Have your vehicle Wrap Ready. To avoid additional fees or delays, please wash your vehicle the same day you drop it off. A basic car wash with no wax, or a scrub down with Dawn dish soap, is acceptable. If you have existing vinyl or adhesive on the vehicle, please make sure to have it removed prior to drop-off.

Remember, a wrap is only as good as the surface you put it on.

⚠️ If your vehicle is NOT Wrap Ready

We will have to charge you a cleaning fee of $500. Yes, $500 is a lot for a car wash — but our installers are unavailable to wash the vehicle until the following day. If they do wash it, the vehicle will also need to sit in our bay for a minimum of 4 hours before graphics can be installed. This allows all the water to work its way out of the window seals and door handles.

This pushes deadlines for your project and our other customers — so please, show up washed and ready.

Step 3: Vehicle Inspection

We Inspect Every Vehicle
Before Install 🔍

When you arrive, a team member will walk the vehicle with you. We photograph and document the condition of the vehicle before any work begins — this protects you and us.
